Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a reproduction?
A: Reproductions are highly accurate copies of original works of art, hand-painted oil on canvas by talented artists. You can see and touch the brushstrokes, made by our artists in the same way that the original great master would have made them.

Q: Is it legal to copy famous masterpieces?
A: Yes. These works are reproductions, not originals. We only produce copies of works which have passed out of copyright and into the public domain. The basic rule for this is that the artist must have been dead for at least seventy years.

Q: Can I order any size of painting?
A: Many of the world’s greatest paintings are on a very large scale, while others are painted in very small dimensions. We offer reproductions in a suitable size, painted in proportion to the original.

Q: How long does it take to receive my painting?
A: To keep costs low for our customers, we try to place several orders together to save on shipping costs from Asia. Once we place an order, it generally takes 6-8 weeks to receive your painting. If you want your order sooner, we can make arrangements, but there will be an additional cost involved for shipping.

Q: How much do your paintings cost?
A: Please click here to see our pricing policy.

Q: Do you only reproduce works found on this site?
A: No. As long as you provide us with a good reference source, and the work is out of copyright, we will reproduce any painting to your specification.

Q: Who are your artists?
A: We work with highly talented artists from a gallery in Southeast Asia. Their reproductions are said to be indistinguishable from the originals.
